A place for every kind of stay

Which side of Punta Chame is right for you?

Punta Chame offers a variety of accommodation, and the area you choose makes all the difference.

Whether kitesurfing is your whole reason for coming, you want a taste of authentic local life, or you're after a relaxed beach holiday, there's a part of the peninsula that fits. Here are the three main areas to stay — pick the one that matches your trip.

Three ways to stay

Where to stay in Punta Chame

Our free where-to-stay guide has our personal recommendations for each area — with names, tips and how to book.

Focus on kitesurfing

Stay directly at the kite spot

Accommodation right on the main kite beach. If kitesurfing is your top priority and you want just a few steps from your bed to your kite, this is the ideal choice — roll out of bed, check the wind, and you're on the water.

Best for: kiters who want to maximise every windy hour
Kite + local life

Stay in Punta Chame village

Right in the village — the perfect balance between kitesurfing and everyday life. You're within walking distance of supermarkets, restaurants and little shops, with everything you need close by, and still near the kite beach. A great choice if you want to experience the authentic atmosphere of Punta Chame alongside your riding.

Best for: travellers who want the real Punta Chame vibe
Relaxed beach holiday

Stay at the South Beach

On the peninsula's opposite side, South Beach has long white-sand beaches, untouched coastline and a relaxed beach-holiday feel. It's a little farther from the kite beach but still within easy reach, and naturally sheltered from the wind in season — a lovely choice for families or non-kiting travel companions.

Best for: families & non-kiters after a calm beach break
